Rapidly growing family law firm in Virginia seeks associate attorney with 3-5+ years of experience. The firm would consider a more experienced attorney with a book of business who is looking for an established firm to associate with. The firm is well-managed with experienced staff and support for operations, accounting, and marketing. This position can be virtual, hybrid or onsite and can be filled by an attorney located anywhere.

Requirements:
1.
3-5+ years of experience in family law.
2.
Interest in family law as demonstrated by Bar service, publications, presentations, and practice experience.
3.
First or second chair experience with cases involving custody, visitation, equitable distribution, spousal and child support.
4.
Demonstrated competence in research and writing.
5.
Must be admitted to practice law in Virginia, DC a plus.
Additional, desired skills and experience:
• Strong communication skills with clients, opposing counsel, and colleagues.
• Strong research ability.
• Judicial clerkship a plus.
