Solo practitioner is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join a thriving criminal defense trial practice.

Requirements: JD from an accredited law school; admission to the Virginia State Bar; active licensing is preferred.

Must be certified, or willing to become certified, to serve as court-appointed counsel for indigent defendants through the Virginia Indigent Defense Commission (VIDC).

Proven experience in criminal cases and prior jury trial experience is a plus.

The Virginia Law Foundation (VLF), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to the Rule of Law and access to justice, seeks a Program Planner to develop and manage in-person and virtual CLE programs through Virginia CLE. Responsibilities include planning seminars and webinars, identifying timely legal topics, recruiting and supporting faculty, managing venues and program logistics, ensuring CLE compliance, and maintaining relationships with bar sections and speakers.
