Litigation Associate
Mayo Law Group, a boutique firm representing defamation plaintiffs and serving as fractional general counsel to growth businesses, seeks a full-time associate attorney for complex litigation in state and federal courts across the country. Responsibilities include drafting motions and briefs, managing discovery, preparing witnesses, taking depositions, arguing hearings, and contributing to trial strategy from case inception through verdict. Attorneys looking to build trial skills can do so here; those with different strengths can also contribute through exemplary research, briefing, and litigation management. The right candidate writes well, speaks well, and means well. Virginia Bar admission required; periodic overnight travel (4-6 times per year). Compensation includes base salary plus performance-based bonuses, health/vision/dental, 401(k) matching, uncapped flexible PTO, and meals during the workday. Hybrid remote/in-office model.
