TRAUMA: How it affects you and every member of our community

Dr. Allison Sampson-Jackson and Theresa Caldwell of the Petersburg Wellness Consortium will present an overview of trauma-informed procedures that can enhance the participants’ belief in the justice system, decrease potentially negative experiences in court, and facilitate the effectiveness of the courts in delivering fairness and justice.

These rule changes will also be available on the Supreme Court’s website at www.courts.state.va.us. The Guidelines and User’s Manual referenced in the rules will be available on the website in mid – to late – May 2015.
