Williams Mullen needs an associate with 2-5 years’ experience with both real estate and corporate practices. This is an excellent opportunity for an associate seeking direct client interaction, significant responsibility, business development support, and a chance to work in a dynamic team environment in our beautiful Charlottesville office.
• The ideal candidate will have experience in: drafting commercial real estate purchases, leasing and financing documents; handling title, survey, easements, insurance, and other real estate diligence matters; some exposure to zoning and land use regulation matters; and experience with general corporate and transactional matters including contracts, M&A due diligence, and entity formation and governance.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills are required. Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to build credibility, persuasiveness and diplomacy. Superior academic credentials expected and entrepreneurial spirit highly preferred.
• Candidates must be currently licensed in Virginia or have the ability to immediately waive in.
